General Food Equipment

The General Slice Machine Company was founded in the 1940s by the Harry Wiener family. Based in Brooklyn, New York, the company was originally known for manufacturing hand-operated meat slicers and hand-crank food grinders. Later in the 1960s, General expanded their product line to include electric-operated slicers and grinders. 

Today the General Company manufactures a wide range of foodservice equipment for commercial kitchens including Mixers, Food Warmers, and slicers.
