Replace an old supermarket, deli or butcher cabinet with a high-efficiency Hussmann remote model and a Victorian or NSW government incentive can take $300 to $6,150* off each cabinet. Glass-door freezers earn the most, up to about 32% of our price. Prices exclude GST, freight and installation.

Replacing an older 2.5 m open-front multideck (about 30 kWh a day) with a Hussmann PMM20F3R 2.5 m multideck with doors (7.5 kWh a day, as registered for PMM20F3R-4):
Freezers too: replacing an older Hussmann 4-door remote freezer (RLTM4, registered at 59.2 kWh a day) with a PGL20F3R 4-door glass-door freezer (39.3 kWh a day) saves about 7,240* kWh and $2,172* a year.

The older-cabinet figures are estimates (open-front 2.5 m multidecks on the register today use about 29 to 32 kWh a day, and older ones typically use more). Your saving depends on your cabinets, trading hours and tariff.
Keep your existing cabinets in place until the photos are taken. Before-and-after photos are part of the claim, and we'll tell you when they can go.
Walk your site once, take these photos, then upload them as you fill in the site assessment form. Five are needed for every job, and a sixth if you are replacing cabinets. Your answers let us quote the cabinets and the installation together, and confirm whether a site visit is needed.
Also have ready: a plan or sketch of the layout, the distance in metres from the cases to the condensing unit, your Australian Business Number (ABN) and a recent electricity bill.
Stay on the ground. Take every photo from floor level or a normal walkway. Do not climb onto a roof or ladder, enter a ceiling space or remove any covers. If you cannot see something safely, photograph what you can and tell us on the form. Our installer will check it on site.
Installation is currently available in Victoria and New South Wales. We share your site details and photos with our refrigeration installer to price the work, and your business details with an accredited energy incentive provider only if you agree on the form. See our privacy policy.

It comes from government energy-efficiency certificates created when the cabinet is installed. How it is applied to your purchase is set out in your quote.
Each state runs its own scheme with its own formula and certificate price. NSW also pays more for replacing an old cabinet than for a new install.
No. Plug-in (self-contained) display cabinets have had no incentive in Victoria since June 2022, and are suspended in NSW. Only remote cabinets qualify.
No. In NSW, cabinets with two or more display sides (for example island cases) are excluded. Single-sided wall-line cabinets qualify. Victoria doesn't have this restriction.
Yes. NSW requires you to pay at least $1,000 plus GST per cabinet yourself. That payment can't be refunded or covered by anyone else.
No. In NSW you must pay at least $1,000 plus GST per cabinet yourself, and Industry Kitchens never advertises free cabinets.
No. Freight and installation are quoted separately and are in addition to the cabinet price.
They are calculated from each model's registered energy use and the published scheme formulas, then reduced for typical processing costs, so they are a good guide to compare models. Your quote is also an estimate, but a much clearer one: it is based on your exact cabinets and site. The final amount can still change if certificate prices move, if the scheme rules change before installation, or if the installation doesn't meet the scheme requirements.
